After his bank apprenticeship, Markus Schneider studied business informatics and business administration. This was followed by various positions in controlling at well-known companies. His last position was as a consultant at Horváth und Partner before he was appointed Commercial Director at MAIRDUMONT GmbH & Co. KG.

In 2015, Markus Schneider was appointed Managing Director of Hallwag Kümmerly and Frey in Switzerland, followed shortly afterwards by the management of Kompass in Austria and Gestalten Verlag in Berlin.

On 1 April 2020, he was appointed Managing Director of DuMont Reiseverlag, VARTA-Führer, MAIRDUMONT international holding company as well as MAIRDUMONT, with major responsibility for finance, human resources, IT, strategic purchasing and logistics. Since October 2020 he has also been Managing Director of MAIRDUMONT VENTURES GmbH and is responsible for the group's digital M&A and venture projects.

After studying business administration, Michael Munz began his professional career at Hubert Burda Media and then Cybernet. In the New Market period he was managing partner of Tanto Xipolis, a joint venture between Brockhaus and the Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group.

He then moved to Holtzbrinck, where he became founder and director of Holtzbrinck eLAB. He was responsible for the development and investment management of numerous online ventures. At the same time he was acting as Managing Director for several ventures, such as gutefrage.net. Afterwards, he moved to TheMediaLab, an associated company of Mediengruppe Madsack and WAZ Mediengruppe, as managing director.

Since 2009 he has been working with his own consulting and investment company Clover. Michael Munz is also active as an advisor in numerous growth companies such as Searchmetrics, carpooling.com and Joblocal, where he represents management and investors in several cases. Since 2015 he supports MAIRDUMONT VENTURES as venture partner in the further developement of the portfolio.

Dr. Stephanie Mair-Huydts studied business administration in Freiburg and St. Gallen (Switzerland). She received her doctorate in 1989 in St. Gallen. After various internships abroad, she joined MAIRDUMONT in 1989 in the tourism sector and then took over international sales in 1990.

Since 1996 Dr. Stephanie Mair-Huydts has been publisher of all travel guide series of MAIRDUMONT, since 2000 managing director of Baedeker Verlag, since 2005 managing director of the DuMont travel publishing house, since 2006 managing director of MAIRDUMONT and since 2010 spokeswoman of the management of MAIRDUMONT.

Arnd Benninghoff was managing director of Holtzbrinck eLAB from 2006 to 2010. The Internet holding company belonged to the Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group. From 2010 to 2012, he was managing director of ProSiebenSat1 Digital. He then moved to ProSiebenSat.1 Media as Chief Digital Officer. There he was responsible for the development of the digital sector, with a special focus on strategic growth as well as video, mobile and gaming. At the same time he was managing director of SevenVentures.

Since 2014, he has been deputy managing director of MTGx and managing director of the venture division within the company.

From 2002 to 2007, Klaus Abele was responsible for setting up the "markt.Group" in Germany. Afterwards, he worked as CEO of media swiss ag in Switzerland, which today forms the core of Ringer Digital. In 2011 he joined OCHO Ventures as partner and CEO, where he has been setting up and accompanied numerous Internet start-ups.

For the last four years, Jörg Burtscheidt managed the business of the German lastminute.com group for brands such as lastminute.de and holiday autos. Prior to that, he was regional director at Expedia for five years. With his experience in e-commerce travel, he has a large knowledge base. With this knowledge, he advises companies in the media and travel industry as an external consultant.

Currently, he also supports a number of start-ups in the travel sector in operational and strategic matters as a member of the supervisory board and/or advisory board.
